Abstract

With this work we seek to reflect on the origin of the problems of our
time’s educational authority. On the one hand, we agree with those who warn
about the fact that nowadays students perceive with less intensity than before that
the teacher has something valuable to transmit. But, on the other hand, we reject
the visions that presage that, due to the speed and intensity with which cultural
changes occur, little by little, the school will not have anything valuable left to
teach. Instead, we propose a more optimistic diagnosis about the school’s future.
