La creación musical académica argentina como reflejo de la Guerra del Paraguay

Abstract

 In the history of people, an event with great repercussions in society, should have left a trace in said culture that could be discovered by historical research. In the history of the Argentine Republic, there are several events falling into this category, one of them is the War againt Paraguay or the “Triple Alianza” War (1865-1870). Based on such hypothesis, this is a study of the Argentine art music of such period, which follows the different stages of war according to the reaction of society, ranging from the initial euphoria to the final lack of interest.
