El socialismo peruano en el pensamiento de José Carlos Mariátegui

Abstract

 For this paper, we have read Mariategui´s works with the main purpose of elucidating his ideas regarding the possibility of a socialist revolution in Peru. We have tried to understand whom his works were addressed to, which was the subject matter of his studies, how he understood the revolution and which role he assigned to communism, and fi nally, who would be the protagonists of the Peruvian revolution, in opposition to the opinion of Third International.
