Abstract

An archaeological research project in the Quebrada de La Cueva area (Humahuaca Department, Jujuy Province) is introduced. The approach is carried out from the lithic technology organization perspective. The different archaeological sites in the area are briefl y described and some theoretical and methodological questions linked to the research are outlined, together with the preliminary results of the analysis
