Abstract

In this paper we analyze the Spanish Embassy reports on the movements of the Spanish anarchists in Argentina who sent the Ministry of State since the beginning of the twentieth century until 1919. In it we see the control, monitoring and enforcement exercised by the Argentine government and the embassy regarding the numerous expulsions of Spanish immigrants accused of anarchists. Clearly, according to the notes of Spanish representation, the close link between the Foreign Ministry and the embassy so we can infer that the issue of Spanish anarchism in Argentina concerned both parties and our country not only exercised a policy control but also rejection who maintained that ideology. Within social issues also notified the Embassy of the numerous riots, organized by workers, which occurred in the country during the radical government, a situation that seriously disturbed the Spanish Embassy.
The work includes the situation of immigrants in the years following the first world war. In this case, take control problems of documentation to enter the country that not only was an administrative issue but also ideological because of internal problems and working conditions leading Argentina to establish special conditions regarding the quality of the immigrant desired.
