Pestes y muerte en el Río de la Plata y Tucumán (1700-1750)
Keywords:
Mortality, Epidemics, Eighteenth century, River Plate, Colonial periodAbstract
The first half of the XVIII century has been scarcely addressed by historians of the local population due to the deficiencies of sources. However, it is possible to enrich the analysis through the use of documentation not strictly demographic and from angles that are not limited only to census. This work seeks to approach the study of two major epidemics occurring in this time spam, mapping its path throughout the Argentine territory and attempting to establish its incidence in the populations that suffered their attack.Downloads
