Construir la educación común en Argentina: una aproximación desde el caso sanjuanino (1884-1887)

Abstract

The objective of this article is to chronocle San Juan educational system. For this purpose, I study the acts of “Consejo General de Educación” - main authority in school matters- between 1884-1877. The choice of this type of sources is due to shows various fronts over authorities acted on– such as ecomomic administracion and underlying world of work at schools- to configure and start up the school system within the territory of San Juan. Furthermore, it should be mentioned, 1884 is the elected year to delimitate the beginning of that period because the Provincial and the national common education laws were enacted then. And the end is marked by a new normative aprooved for provincial educational institutions in 1887.
