Abstract

This work aims to delve into the memories of Rear Admiral Aníbal Olivieri, overturned in his book Twice rebel. Although there can be considered an apology for his conduct, because he served as Minister of the Navy in the Peron government between 1951 and 1955, he is presented as a necessary source to study an institution, such as the Navy, its members, the issue of professionalization and the impact of politics within it.
