The mercy and justice of God

Abstract

Motivated by Pope Francis in his Bull Misericordiae Vuluiada tus of April 11, 2015, a study is presented here on the mercy and justice of God first according to the reflections of cardinal Walter Kasper and the last popes since John XXIII, secondly according to the linguistic and literary biblical message on both divine attributes, and finally according to particular contributions of the last two popes, Benedict XVI and Francis, who show their teaching very much guided by the biblical message.
