Abstract

The present work analyzes the incorporation and functionality of the aboriginal musicians in the institutional corpus of the Cathedral during the period between the beginnings of the Obispado and the nineteenth century. Starting from a critical study of models applied to the subject and based on the documentary that uses unpublished sources conserved in the archive of the Curia Arquidiocesana of Cuenca, an analysis of the activity of the aboriginals of the cathedral institution is realized allowing a reconstruction panoramic of the spaces of action and execution of specific practices
