El espectro métrico en el análisis musical

Abstract

 In this article it is presented a new category of music metrical analysis: Metric Spectrum as a description of the metrical space where the composer, the performer and the listener interact. Some analyses are performed on common practical period pieces taken from authors like J. S. Bach, L. von Beethoven and F. Mendelssohn after the Metric Spectrum construct was briefly described. In addition, several technical concepts related to musical meter are discussed.
