Playing with time. Investigación, performance, tiempo

Abstract

From the topic convener of the Tenth Week of Music and Musicology, this article links performance, research and time, including reflection on the theoretical concepts involved and on specific research experiences. From an approach linking anthropology and musicology, working on the core concepts of time awareness, performance, outlook and microcosm, adding another conceptual axis based on the presence and use of the body. Possible approaches to research in cases of reconstruction of the performance and recording contemporary researcher performances are studied. Feasible strategies for recording performances are discussed based on four research experiences.
