La simbología del graffiti con temática de tango en Montevideo : análisis de tres ejemplos

Abstract

In the original research “symbology graffiti with tango theme in Montevideo: analysis
of three examples”, the meanings of the term graffiti are described in the “street art”;
the incidence of international graffiti is synthesized in Montevideo from 1980; and
finally, three winners examples grafiti contest organized by the Municipalidad de Montevideo
(IMM) in 2017 in order to counteract vandalism in the metal shutters of
shops in the main avenue, July 18th. The selection of the three examples of graffiti is
because in them tango takes shape from three different points of view with unique
symbology.
