Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The work has not been previously published nor is it under review by another journal.
• The work meets the requirements stipulated in the Author Guidelines.
• The submission is an original work that does not infringe the copyright of other works of authorship. Where necessary, the author has obtained the relevant copyright permissions and includes supporting documentation in the submission.
• In the case of works of collective authorship, the person submitting the submission confirms that they have received authorization from the other authors to make the presentation and to act as the sole interlocutor with the journal during the editorial process.
• If the work is accepted for publication, all rights of exploitation in electronic media (reproduction, distribution, and public communication) are transferred to the journal Letras, and its inclusion in national and international indexes, catalogs, and databases is authorized.
